Interferogram Topography

This project started with an analysis of the British architecture duo Smout Allen. Smout Allen‘s premise is to adress the ecological fragility and terrestrial instability of Los Angeles. They argue that the city requires continual study and can be compared with an urban scale research facility. My line of research is centered on the question how architecture can be used to mediate and represent technology. Connected to that is the question how our tools (programs, materials, ideologies) lead to new ways of architectural creation.
